What you can do without asking
You are welcome to:
- Read the site.
- Link to any page from your own site, blog, or social account.
- Print or save a page for your own personal, non-commercial use, including to bring to an appointment with your prescriber.
- Quote a short passage in commentary, criticism, news reporting, teaching, or scholarship, with attribution to PsychiatryRx and a link back to the original page.

The following uses are not permitted without prior written permission from shrinkMD Publishing, LLC:
- Republishing or redistributing PsychiatryRx content, in whole or in substantial part, on another website, in a newsletter, app, book, or other publication.
- Commercial use of any kind, including marketing materials, patient handouts distributed by a clinical practice or pharmacy, course materials sold to the public, or content bundled into a paid product.

Search engines and AI answer engines
Search engines and AI answer engines are welcome to crawl, index, and cite PsychiatryRx, including quoting a short passage to answer someone's question, as long as the answer attributes PsychiatryRx and links back to the source page. To make accurate, attributed citation easy, we publish a curated index at /llms.txt and a full-text export at /llms-full.txt.
What isn't permitted is automated scraping or harvesting that copies pages in whole or in substantial part, mirrors the site, builds a competing content library, or assembles a dataset from our content.
AI training restrictions
Reading and citing our pages to answer a person's question, with a link back, is welcome. Separately, we don't consent to PsychiatryRx content being used to train, fine-tune, or evaluate generative artificial intelligence models, large language models, or any similar systems, whether commercial or non-commercial, except under a separately signed written agreement with shrinkMD Publishing, LLC. This reservation applies however the content was obtained, whether through the site, a search index, a third-party dataset, or any other means.
Reporting infringement
If you believe content on PsychiatryRx infringes a copyright you hold, send a notice to support@psychiatryrx.org that includes:
- A description of the work you believe is infringed.
- The URL on PsychiatryRx where the alleged infringement appears.
- Your contact information.

- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
